At AWC, we can provide customized Active Shooter Training for your business or organization. We utilize the Run/Avoid, Hide/Deny, Fight/Defend model. We can provide education and scenario based training to your whole organization or response team to better prepare staff should such an event occur.
First Responders
At AWC, we can teach firefighters, EMS personnel, law enforcement, medical staff, and any individuals dealing with patient care how to appropriately handle combative or assaultive patients. Our emphasis is on keeping the provider safe while not causing additional harm to the patient. AWC's Combative Patient Protocols are currently being utilized by the San Diego Fire and Rescue Department.

This type of training can be customized to be layered with self-defense and defensive shooting tactics or left as a stand-alone to counter the home invasion.
